Lagos fashion week

Lagos fashion week was a huge success for me. The event which held on the 25th – 28th of October 2017 brought  together fashion expertise, designers, models, and crowd of fashion enthusiasts from all over the world to witness the event. Some of the designers that showcased are Eki Orleans, Style Temple, Ejiro Amos Afiri, Moofa, Orange Culture, Grey, Lisa Folawiyo, Mai Atafo, Andrea Iyamah, Maki Oh and lots of designers.

Day 1

Last year my focus was on the runway show and I wrote about it on my post on lfdw2016

This year’s Lagos fashion week, I wasn’t going to miss all the drama that comes with the street styles and so I got there just in time and ready to slay and be slayed(lol!). The street style was surprisingly simple, stylish and functional. There were lots of combination of edgy, daring and trendy. I for one wasn’t left out as my outfits were featured by photographers, social media platforms and fashion pages. I was among the bellanaijastyletop 50 (yea yea!),  Glamofficial most stylist 35, I was featured by Stylevitae, Streetfashion9ja, Olorisupergalthebloggerpoint , Naijastreetstyle , Naijafashionhub, Gbenjo Abimbola, Obstreetstyle, Thestreetisarunway, Jamesotihiphotography, Metrogypsie. It was really a big deal for me and an honor at that and I will like to use this medium to say a very big thank you to everyone that contributed to this.

What have learnt so far is that when preparing for an event or any fashion outing make sure to go with what suits your personality, the mood of the event, stay true to yourself , go with what you feel and look comfortable in that really matters a lot because people tend to read and know when you are uncomfortable in an outfit. Don’t copy I always say but recreate. See you all next year. kisses!
