Cornucopia

I’m sure lots of you have heard this word severally on my Social media page, but then, it was Cornucopia in the garden who won’t talk about it. Lol!

Dearest ladies in fashion! I had an invite to the  garden party from thebloggerpoint.http://www.thebloggerpoint.com and it was a Saturday, well! I had to attend and I am so glad I did.

Cornucopia defines itself as prosperity, harvest, plentiful and abundance.” Cornucopia is dedicated to providing finely handcrafted contemporary jewels to women. Their pieces are made from materials like gemstones, sterling silver and gold filled metals giving it that’s versatility, beauty, strength, durability, timelessness and uniqueness.

The garden was filled with lots of aesthetic, unique and brilliant pieces you really can’t take your eye off. What more was in plentiful? FOOD😀. We had lots of harvest and so abundance of everything to eat and drink.

In attendance were bloggers, influencers and fashion lovers who had different ideas to share and so networking was easy. Fashion enthusiast gave clearly the difference between cheap, expensive, affordable and luxury which are all relative.  We had a little chat session with the Creative director, Mrs Abimbola who gave us a brief history on how she started the business. What got my attention was the fact that she started with just 20,000 naira about 10 years ago. Yes! 20,000 naira. What I learnt Is that “what really keeps  a business is the dream and passion you have for what you do”

This is a really big deal for me because I would love to own a business someday and meeting all this wonderful people with ideas to share is something I always love doing.
